All content on the site (text, graphics, logos, trademarks, structure, layout, source code, databases and software elements) is protected by copyright, trademark law and other applicable intellectual property provisions. This content is the exclusive property of NOX.PET or its licensors, unless otherwise stated or content provided by third parties under license.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, distribution or exploitation, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization from NOX.PET, is prohibited and may constitute infringement.

The trademark “NOX.PET” and the domain name nox.pet are used by NOX.PET. Any unauthorized use of the trademark or elements likely to create confusion with NOX.PET may be subject to legal action.

4. Service description

NOX.PET offers a pet identification service via personalized QR code medallions, linked to an online page and digital features (scan alerts, history, privacy settings). The service includes an annual subscription and the sale of additional medallions. It facilitates contact between a person who has found a pet and its owner, without guaranteeing recovery of the pet.

5. Limitation of liability

NOX.PET strives to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information published on the site. However:

• Errors, omissions or delays in updates may occur;
• The site and service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or force majeure reasons;
• Links to third-party sites do not constitute endorsement of their content; NOX.PET has no control over these sites.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NOX.PET's liability for damages arising from use of the site or service is limited in accordance with the Terms of Sale and Use.

The processing of personal data via the site is described in the Privacy Policy. Under Quebec's Law 25 and applicable legislation, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure and portability, and the right to file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

7. Governing law and disputes

This legal notice and use of the site are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute relating to the site or service is subject to the competent courts of Quebec, in accordance with the Terms of Sale and Use.

The site is offered in French and English. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
